Putting Products to the Test

One of the most advanced testing labs in irrigation is located at our San Marcos facility. The lab operates 24 hours a day, measuring rotation speed, adjustments and operation of sprinklers at a wide range of pressures. Hunter nozzles are also tested continually to ensure consistent uniform water distribution.

Lab computers generate sprinkler distribution profiles for each product and analyze the uniformity of the spray pattern, along with densograms that show how these sprinklers would perform in a specific design.

Products are also tested in real world conditions. Using more than 35 different types of soil from around the world, we work to ensure that Hunter products will operate reliably in all geographic regions.
