Data retrieval units monitor real-world conditions and actual system flow with sensors. Automatic ET input can use current local weather to scientifically calculate the amount of water needed by each plant type on every day of the week. And Flow Optimizer™ automatically adjusts the start times for the entire golf course to balance hydraulic flow, saving energy costs and equipment life. The net result is a control system that works for you, even when you’re not there, to lower costs, save water and equipment, and grow beautiful environments.

Send it and forget it. Graphics and automation are just part of the story. Genesis III has the horsepower to save complete irrigation scenarios for different conditions under their own names, for recall whenever those conditions return. Genesis III’s sophisticated internal architecture is famous for its field-resident memory. Like all Hunter Golf systems, the computer is never required for irrigation in a Genesis III system… because the programs are stored in the field controllers themselves. You can create new irrigation programs in the field without ever touching a computer. Your critical irrigation is never dependent on a PC, because it’s too important for that. You can even start up (or grow in!) a Genesis system without any computer at all, and add it later on if you wish. Genesis is fully compatible with Hunter’s Viking decoder systems as well.

Three-Way Communications. Long pioneers in two-way communications for irrigation, your Hunter engineers have broken another cost and technology barrier. The unique TriSend™ central interface now allows radio, hardwire and telephone modem communications within the same system. Wire the close areas, send radio to the farthest ones or control remote sites from a central location – every Genesis III TriSend™ central interface has the ability to mix all three communications technologies in a single transparent interface. And, as always, all Genesis III communications are confirmed back to the central. Maintenance radio remote control, a favorite time- and money-saver of superintendents, will operate every station on your course from distances over a mile, in any Genesis system.
