From Design to Assembly
At Hunter, making golf irrigation products involves more than assembling parts. Our Sales and Marketing departments meet regularly with distributors, course superintendents and project designers to determine the types of products and features needed for todays golf courses.
After extensive testing to ensure value and reliability, a new product goes into design and development. Sophisticated CAD drawings are transferred to our main manufacturing facility and toolmakers create new tools for the molding machines. Hunter molds thousands of parts daily from tiny, intricate gears to very large, durable sprinkler bodies. In an effort to remain at the forefront of materials research, we are constantly testing new materials that are stronger, more resilient and mold more consistently.

New manufacturing technologies are always being integrated into our production processes. Sonic welding, for example, produces an intense heat which melts the plastic and forms an impenetrable weld on all assemblies. And, with a substantial amount of manufacturing being handled by automated assembly, Hunter is able to ensure the highest degree of consistent quality in all of the companys products.
